This the story of two friends whose lives took different directions after college graduation. One of them worked as an R&D manager in the textile industry for many years, specializing in raw materials and manufacture processes. The other one fell in love with Indian traditional designs & craftsmanship when he was in India for his PhD study, and continued his studies in this field.

When they met again in Istanbul, common passion of the two friends was revolving around yarns, designs and fabrics. Thus, their ideas, passions and ways merged and Emiliano Basco has been founded.
